While taking ‘FASH 325N-111: Private Label Development ’, I had the unique opportunity to create merchandise for the Dutchess County SPCA. My team and I visited the shelter and crafted a licensed logo that accurately depicted the brand’s identity. We were tasked with developing and licensing a new private Label logo, which was then applied to products such as stickers, mugs, sweatshirts, dog bandanas, and other accessories. Additionally, we drafted comprehensive tech packs and PO’s to ensure seamless production and delivery.

Additionally, I was selected for one of the eight spots in Marist’s first-ever ‘BUS 390N-200: Professional Sales’ course, taught by Dr. Muzi Liu, Ph.D. We learned the SPIN method of selling and performed weekly role plays, adapting to B2B and B2C scenarios across various sectors, including technology, healthcare, and finance, with different buyer scripts. My Final Role Play, Payne West Insurance, was judged by Dean T. Marquis, Financial Advisor for Merrill Lynch Wealth Management, CIMA. Drawing from Neil Rackham’s ‘SPIN Selling’ Textbook, I successfully attempted to close our ‘buyer’ by scheduling a follow-up meeting.
